POSES Ethos

POSES, Program of Self-Encounters, is a guided journey into self-inquiry, a meeting point between awareness and embodiment. By combining elegant simplicity and deep insight, POSES transforms the act of awareness into an expressive art form and cultivates presence into a purposeful way of being.

Conceived by Brazilian somatic researcher Renata Abbade, POSES is the culmination of decades immersed in the transformative realms of psychosomatic disciplines. Drawing upon the ancient wisdom of Do-In, the psychological insights of Jungian psychoanalytical theory, and innovative methodologies such as Global Posture Reeducation (RPG® Method), Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais Method®, and Body-Mind Centering®, this program transcends conventional self-improvement practices. Since its beginning in 2009, POSES has evolved into a dynamic, living art, a seamless synthesis of keen observation, intentional movement, and profound reflection. Each session invites you into a direct dialogue with your mental, emotional, physical and spiritual aspects. POSES provides an intentional opportunity to meet your self–to listen, connect, and bring these parts of yourself into harmony.

POSES is a journey through a sophisticated path of self-discovery opening the gates to a perpetual unfolding of your most authentic self.
